2007 -- Appointment of Jordan L. Owens as Executive Vice
President, business development, was announced by Randall J.
McNeil, President and CEO of McNeil Industries, Painesville,
Ohio. The company manufactures and distributes MAXAM®
Bearings, Guide Systems, Deburring Systems, industrial seals,
and precision manufactured products.
In this role, Owens joins the company's
executive team, where he will drive McNeil Industries global
sales, marketing, and distributor support programs, strengthen
its strategic accounts program, and identify and evaluate new
product and acquisition opportunities. Owens joins McNeil Industries after two years
as president of Vanguard National Trailer Corporation and six
years as president of Danly IEM, a Cleveland-based maker of die
sets and components for the metalworking industry.
While at Danly IEM, Owens led its acquisition and
integration of Anchor Lamina and drove plant consolidations and
improvements that reduced operating costs and lead times while
increasing service levels for major product lines.
His experience also includes general management for SPX
Corporation, a manufacturer of hand tools, and business unit
management for Sulzer Bingham Pumps, a maker of industrial pump
systems. Owens currently serves on the board of the
National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS), based in
Washington, DC and is a former international director of the
Society for Automotive Engineers (SAE) of Dearborn, MI. # # # |
